It’s a devastating twist on what should be the happiest day of the bride’s life, especially as she’s already carrying the weight of a terminally ill mother. Will the wedding go on? At just over 400 pages, it’s a long read. In all honesty because I had already seen the series, I found myself less invested, feeling like I knew too much of the ending. I recommend reading the novel first and saving the series for later.
